A: Microstorage is a convenient and flexible storage solution. We sell, ship, pick-up and deliver storage bins to your home, allowing you to pack your belongings at your convenience. Once you're ready, a SYB professional will pick-up your bins at your scheduled pick-up time and deliver them to our secure facility for storage. When you need your bins back, simply cancel your storage subscription, schedule a delivery and we will return your bins to you.
Q: How is Store Your Bins different from traditional storage solutions?
A: We bring the storage to you! Our bin storage service eliminates the need to rent a truck or make multiple trips to a storage unit. You can pack and load your belongings at your leisure, and we handle the transportation and secure storage of your bins at our facility. It's a more convenient, efficient, and stress-free storage option.
Q: What can I store in my storage bins?
A: We accommodate most household belongings, from clothing, kitchenware, books, linens, toiletries, and more. However, hazardous materials, perishables, and illegal items are strictly prohibited for safety and legal reasons. A: Microstorage offers unparalleled convenience and flexibility. With Store Your Bins, you don't need to rent a truck or make multiple trips to a storage unit. Secure storage bins are delivered right to your door, and you can pack your belongings at your leisure. Additionally, our mobile storage solution is ideal if you're not sure how much space you need. You can select as many bins as you require. Our bins are also perfect for temporary storage during renovations or transitions, as they can be stored securely in our facility for as little as one week or for as long as you need.
Q: What items cannot be stored with Store Your Bins?
A: The safety and security of our customers and staff are paramount, so we maintain a list of prohibited items that cannot be stored in our bins. This includes hazardous materials, such as flammable liquids, toxic substances, and pressurized containers. Perishable items, such as food, plants, and any living creatures, are also prohibited. Illegal or stolen goods, firearms, and explosives are strictly forbidden.
Additionally, valuable items like jewelry, artwork, or cash should not be stored in our bins, as they require specialized storage conditions and insurance coverage. Q: What area does Store Your Bins service?
A: Store Your Bins services most of the Greater Toronto Area within a 30km radius of Midtown Toronto. Upon checkout, you will be prompted to enter your postal code and confirm your location is within our service area. Our delivery and pickup services are available within this designated service area, ensuring convenient and timely access to our mobile storage solutions. If you're unsure whether your location falls within our service area, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll be happy to assist in determining eligibility.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: You may return your unused, undamaged bins within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). If the return is not the result of a Store Your Bins error, you will be charged a $30 flat rate return shipping fee.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your unused bins to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

How does the Bin Buyback program work?
At the end of your storage term, provided your bins are in good condition (no visible damage, dents, scratches, or missing pieces), Store Your Bins will buy back your bins for a full refund. You can submit a buyback refund request to us via our Contact form on our website and when approved, we will pick up your buyback bins within 14 days of approval. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your refund to process.
Pricing and Payment
Q: How much does it cost to use Store Your Bins?
A: Store Your Bins is a cost-effective and convenient storage solution that is more affordable than traditional self-storage. Our storage rates start at $5 per week, per bin. We also charge a $50 service fee for pick-ups and deliveries. Additional charges may incur if you choose to purchase a protection plan for your goods, or if your location is outside of our service area.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept most major debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We also accept Apple Pay, G Pay, and Interac. You can securely provide your payment information during the booking process or through your online account.
Q: Are there any additional fees or charges?
A: Our pricing is transparent, and we strive to keep additional fees to a minimum. However, certain situations may incur extra charges, such as last-minute scheduling changes, extended access times, cancellation fees, re-stocking fees, and deliveries outside of our service area. A: Upon checkout, you will be prompted to select a pick-up date and time for your packed bins. To allow time for you to receive your empty bins and pack them, the pick-up date is restricted to a minimum of 3 days after the date of purchase. On the day of your pick-up, you will receive a reminder notification via email and will be notified when we have arrived to pick up your bins.
When you need your bins back, simply log into your customer account and cancel your storage subscription. You will then be prompted to schedule the return delivery of your bins.

A: The following items are strictly prohibited from being packed inside your bins, for safety and legal reasons: hazardous materials (such as flammable liquids, toxic substances, chemicals, and pressurized containers), perishable items (like food and plants), living or dead animals, illegal or stolen good (firearms, explosives, and other dangerous items), valuable and delicate items (jewelry, artwork, fragile antiques, currency), strong smelling or wet/damp items (as they can cause mildew/mold).
While Store Your Bins will not open your bins under normal circumstances, we reserve the right to open your bin if we have reason to believe there are prohibited items inside. In this rare case, you will be notified and your bin will be returned to you immediately.
Q: How should fragile items be packed?
A: Fragile items require special care and attention when packing. We recommend wrapping fragile items individually in bubble wrap or packing paper and labeling the box as "Fragile." Use extra padding at the bottom and top of the box for added protection, and avoid overpacking or placing heavy items on top of fragile ones. Always handle boxes containing fragile items with care and store them in a secure area of the bin to prevent shifting during transport.
Q: Is there a limit on the weight I can pack inside a bin?
A: Yes, each storage bin has a maximum weight capacity, which is specified in the bin's description.
